Farm attackers threaten to put child in oven
The father, mother and four children were confronted by the robbers while sitting outside their house on Sunday evening.
Four farm attackers, armed with pangas and knives, threatened to put the child of a family from Bokfontein, Brits, in the oven, and threatened to rape the mother if they did not receive their money.
The robbers overpowered the father, mother and four children sitting outside their house on Sunday evening, Kormorant reports.
“The attackers were armed with knives and pangas. They hit the father over the head and tied him up,” Hannetjie Grobler from the Madibeng Crime Traffic Forum (Madibeng Misdaad Verkeer Forum) said.

“The robbers forced the mother inside the house and took the money. She told them that there is no more money, which is when they threatened to rape her and put her three-year-old child in the oven. After this they stole a television, radio, cellphones and other household possessions before fleeing.”
The man sustained head injuries.
Police are currently looking for the attackers, with no arrests made so far.
