11 student officers left injured after state vehicle overturns – Dept

The accident occurred along the N1 North near the Solomondale turnoff on Sunday morning.


Twelve people have been left injured after the state vehicle they were travelling in overturned along the N1 North near the Solomondale turnoff in Limpopo on Sunday morning, Capricorn Voice reports.

Spokesman Matome Moremi says the Iveco minibus was transporting newly recruited student officers to a local college when it overturned allegedly due to a burst tyre.

“One passenger sustained critical injuries and eleven other including the driver sustained minor injuries. All injured were taken to a Polokwane hospital for treatment,” Moremi said.
