Zodwa Wabantu plans to retire

Zodwa has allegedly confirmed she is planning to leave the social scene.

Zodwa Wabantu announced on Wednesday evening that she would retire in January 2019 from the social scene and venture into business, Mpumalanga News reports.

The Soweto-born socialite recently made headlines at the 9th Annual Feather Awards when she showed up in a green emerald daring dress.

She is known for her signature dances, especially the ‘vosho’, and for being unapologetic for the way she lives her life. In July, she stunned many at the Durban July when she rocked up in a dress that revealed her buttocks.

Recent reports also reveal that following the resignation of former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, Zodwa is ready to tour in the country.

Both her tours to the Zimbabwe were cancelled after actress Anne Nhira successfully protested against her visit on moral grounds due to the artiste’s fame of publicly showcasing her acts without underwear.
