Apel police are looking for a group of people who killed a man and burned a vehicle in a field outside Lebowakgomo, in Limpopo, Review Online reports.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said: “The police were notified by residents and arrived on the scene to find a burnt out Hyundai halt truck in a grazing field. The truck was empty, and upon further investigation the members found the body of the deceased a short distance away in the inner bushes, and the deceased had multiple stab wounds throughout his body.”
He added the deceased had been identified as a 21-year-old who resides in Lebowakgomo Zone R.

The motive behind this incident is not yet known, and no arrests have been made as yet.
“It is alleged the deceased was travelling with a group of friends when he was attacked, but the friends are still unknown at this stage.”
