A vehicle dangling from the branches of a tree in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, piqued the interest of evening commuters on Thursday, after an accident at the Hendrina offramp.
The Middelburg Observer reports that, according to a witness at the scene, the driver lost control of his vehicle after swerving for another car that was turning in towards Extension 24 from the N4 highway.
The vehicle rolled before coming to a standstill with it’s nose pointing skywards.
According to the eyewitness, the man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The woman from the other vehicle fled the scene.
