Man killed in shootout near railway station
Police confirmed the man sustained seven bullet wounds.

A 35-year-old man was shot and killed near the old Driemanskap railway station outside Heidelberg, in Ekurhuleni, last night at about 8.30pm, Heidelberg Heraut reports.
“The man was found lying dead in a pool of blood with seven bullet wounds to his head and upper body,” Ekurhuleni East Cluster spokesperson Captain Thivhulawi Tshilate said.
Police received a complaint of the shooting, and when officials arrived at the scene, they found the man lying in a pool of blood. He was certified dead by an Intermediate Life Support Paramedic from Emer-G-Med.

The suspect and the motive of the shooting are unknown.
