Man killed in Centurion crash

Upon arrival, paramedics found the man, believed to be in his late 20s, trapped in his vehicle, said paramedics.


A man was killed when two cars collided in Centurion on Saturday morning.

ER24 spokesperson Russell Meiring said this happened on the R55, near Ellman Street, Rekord Centurion reported.

“Upon arrival, paramedics found the man, believed to be in his late 20s, trapped in his vehicle,” said Meiring.

“The man was removed from the vehicle and placed on advanced life support.”

Meiring said the man was taken to a nearby hospital but he later succumbed to his injuries.

No one else was injured.

He said the cause of the crash was unknown.
