Man arrested for allegedly murdering woman at abandoned house

A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering a woman at an abandoned house, Rosebank Killarney Gazette reports.

Josh Nel, a tactical manager for security company CSS, said: “An argument had allegedly broken out between a man and a woman who were staying at an abandoned property on Bompas Road. The man allegedly stabbed the woman, and she died of her injuries,” he said.

Nel added one of their vehicles was patrolling on Bompas Road when witnesses flagged down the vehicle, and paramedics and police were called to the scene.

Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24, said: “Paramedics entered the house where they found the woman’s body. Upon assessing her, they found that she had sustained a wound to her chest as well as her neck, and showed no signs of life.”
