Man found without a head

In the past week, three mutilated bodies have been discovered.

Yesterday morning (3 July) at about 7 am, the headless body of a man was discovered under a bridge on Albertina Sisulu Road in Maraisburg, Roodepoort Record reports.

The body was discovered by a motorist driving by. Circumstances surrounding the man’s death are sketchy, but the Metro Police believe it was a hit-and-run. The man is also believed to have been homeless. He was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie.

Another mutilated body was found in an open veld near Alrode in Ekurhuleni, Alberton Record reports

Lindi Moloi, spokesperson for the Brackendowns Police Department is asking for assistance to help identify the bodies of two deceased individuals found recently.

A male’s mutilated body, around 25 and 30 years of age, was found in an open veld next to Thina Zonke on Monday, June 26, at approximately 4.20pm.

The victim appeared to have been killed for muti as his armpits, genitals, ears and right hand had been completely severed and were missing.
