A man has died after the vehicle he was travelling in split in half on the R40, close to the showgrounds in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, on Monday, Lowvelder reports.
It is not clear how the accident happened.
He was attended to by ER24, Hi-Tech and Emergmed, and was transported to Rob Ferreira Hospital, where he died.

Car crashed into a pole
The man is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s.
