Man, 21, out on bail after allegedly killing his father
The suspect found his father assaulting his mother and carrying a knife in his hands.

A 21-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the murder of his 43-year-old father was released on R1 000 bail.
The suspect briefly appeared before the Belfast Magistrates’ Court in Mpumalanga on Monday, Mpumalanga News reported.
It is alleged he shot and killed his father who was fighting his mother during a domestic violence incident on Saturday.
The suspect found his father assaulting his mother and carrying a knife in his hands at about 3am when he and his siblings were returning home from a school concert.
In an attempt to protect his mother, the suspect took his father’s revolver from a cabinet and shot him on his chest.
The father was declared dead on the scene.
Belfast police arrested the suspect in connection with the murder. Investigations are still continuing.
