Ben Laas from Hartbeespoort and Annene le Roux, a student coordinator from Eagle Air Flight School at Wonderboom, died in the crash, Kormorant reported.

The Civil Aviation Authority will be visiting the site of the crash on Monday morning to determine the cause of the accident.

The crash took place between 11:00 and 12:00 on Sunday after the Cessna took off from the Wonderboom airport.
