This will be Poland’s first finals since 2006 and they have a point to prove in Russia, having lost out to Portugal in the last eight of Euro 2016.
Robert Lewandowski was the joint-top scorer in qualifying with 16 goals and will be keen to hit the ground running after netting just once in France.
The Bayern Munich man scored twice in their final warm-up game, a 4-0 win over Lithuania, and will be ably supported by Piotr Zielinksi.
Senegal’s last and only World Cup appearance came in 2002 when they famously upset holders France in the opening game of the tournament, before eventually losing out in the quarter-finals.
After remaining unbeaten in final qualifying, the Lions of Teranga look a formidable outfit, with Kalidou Koulibaly, Idrissa Gueye and Cheikhou Kouyate providing a strong spine, while Sadio Mane should provide the goals.
