Ambokile has reportedly travelled to South Africa from Dar es Salaam to sign a deal with Lidoda Duvha.
According to Tanzanian publication Muakilishi TZ, Ambokile left Tanzania on Tuesday to join Leopards on a five months loan deal, with Mbeya City’s secretary Emmanuel Kimbe confirming to another publication in Tanzania that the striker was set to join the Limpopo outfit. Ambokile has scored 14 goals in the first half of the season for his side.
The 23-year-old will be the second striker that the club has signed in the January transfer window after Thokozani Sekotlong moved from Mamelodi Sundowns on loan.
MuakilishiTZ posted a picture of Ambokile on their social media pages at the airport waiting for a plane to South Africa at the start of the week.
