Netcare 911’s rescue officer managed to free the man’s hand from the rollers.
A worker was rushed to hospital after his hand was stuck in a printing press in Westmead, Pinetown in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit were alerted to the industrial accident.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha said reports revealed that a worker got his hand trapped in the rollers of a printing press, Highway Mail reported.
“Paramedics arrived and found the man to have suffered moderate injuries. The Netcare 911 rescue officer managed to free the man’s hand from the rollers. He was stabilised and then taken to a Durban hospital,” said Botha.
