Keshi tipped for Bafana job

A source told the Nigerian media: “I can confirm to you that the deal between Keshi and Safa has been signed and sealed.

“The South Africans are impressed with what he has done with the Eagles.”

The source further claimed that the 52-year-old Super Eagles coach has been in constant contact with top Safa officials over the terms of the deal.

Safa president Danny Jordaan told Eye Witness News yesterday that 14 coaches had applied for the coaching post, among them former Brazilian left-back Roberto Carlos and former Italian footballer Fabio Cannavaro.

The new Bafana Bafana mentor is expected to be announced before the end of next month.
