Chief ehip of the Democratic Alliance and MP John Steenhusien seems to have taken exception to an observation made by former the former deputy leader of Independent Democrats turned COPE member, Simon Grindrod.
Grindrod, who often shares his commentary on the news of the day on Twitter, made a comment about the speeches delivered by the speakers of the house during the first day of the Sona debate.
Speaking about EFF leader Julius Malema’s skills as an orator, Grindrod declared that Malema was the only speaker who had written his own speech while others merely read what their speechwriters had written for them.
Steenhuisen quickly came to his own defence before being hit with a stinging clap back by Grindrod.
Grindrod’s response garnered a handful of laughs but no response from Steenhuisen.
