Plettenberg Bay police in Western Cape have confirmed that human remains had been uncovered on a construction site in the coastal holiday town.
Police spokesperson Marlene Pieterse said the remains had been in Beacon Way on Friday and would be sent to a forensics laboratory in Cape Town for analysis, Knysna Plett Herald reported.
No foul play is expected at this stage.
