A source close to Free State Stars told Phakaaathi that the accident happened in the early hours of this (Monday) morning.
“It’s true that we have lost him, but we’ve been told to refer all queries surrounding his death to Rantsi Mokoena (Stars general manager),” said the source.
Mokoena’s phone rang unanswered when Phakaaathi called for confirmation.
