Two alleged fraudsters were arrested in Aiken Street, Port Shepstone, in KwaZulu-Natal after they tried to rob a 40-year-old woman at an ATM, South Coast Herald reports.
The two men were arrested in town by investigators who are part of a task team investigating the case. They were then taken to the police station where bank cards, cellphones and a white sedan were confiscated.

“It is believed that they are also involved, together with other fraudsters, in several cases from Margate to Scottburgh,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
A fraud case has been opened and they will appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court soon.
