Five arrested, one at large after ‘gang-raping’ minor

Hoedspruit police in Limpopo have arrested three more suspects who allegedly kidnapped and raped a 15-year-old minor.

“A group of six men kidnapped the young girl and forced her into a vehicle which was travelling from Leboeng to The Oaks, and the six men allegedly took turns raping her.”

The suspects were arrested on Wednesday, March 15, following their two accomplices who were arrested a week earlier, Letaba Herald reported.

The Suspects appeared before the Hoedspruit Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 16, and their case was postponed to March 20.

‘The Hoedspruit police calls upon the Leboeng and The Oaks community to help us arrest the final suspect, we would like to see the law taking its cause and the necessary penalty should take place,” said Mulaudzi.
