Fire rages in Mossel Bay

So far the cause of the fire is unknown.

The fire is raging in an area close to Friemersheim.

A vegetation fire is raging close to Friemersheim, in the Western Cape, Mossel Bay Advertiser reports.

Both the Great Brak River crew and members of the Mossel Bay Fire and Disaster Management Services are attending to the fire.

Air support has been requested.

Air support has been requested to fight the fire.

At this stage, it is not certain whether any houses are in the path of danger.
