Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula has been running Operation Wanya Tsotsi for months now, and documenting the progress of the campaign on Twitter.
The minister posts videos and pictures of everything crime-related, including guns, drugs and pictures of himself on the job.
This time he posted a photo of a seriously wounded thug involved in the alleged theft of cars on the border of Mozambique. Twitter didn’t take kindly to this photo, saying it was too graphic, and the minister shouldn’t be posting such on social media.

“You’re out of order honourable minister! Imagine if this was a picture of you and your children had to see it on social media??? Respect!
“Okay this might be a little too graphic Mr Minister, this is somebody’s father…”
“The right to dignity is also afforded to the deceased as a minister my leader you need to uphold the constitutional rights to everyone.”
