A decomposed body was found in Hennops River on Wednesday evening near Pretoria, Centurion Rekord reports.
Erasmia police Constable Tumisang Moloto said a man’s body was found by residents near the R51 at about 8pm.
“His feet had been bound with a rope and one of his hands was missing. Police believe the man was murdered elsewhere, and his body was dumped in the river,” said Moloto.

Moloto said circumstances surrounding the murder would be investigated.
“A postmortem will determine the cause of death and when he was killed.”
A murder case was opened at Erasmia Police Station.
