The Centurion cyclist killed in a car crash on Friday morning will not only be remembered as a gentleman, but also for treating people with respect.
“He’s going to be missed,” Andrew Randall’s shattered wife Tracy told Centurion Rekord.

After admitting life without him would be tough, she said she was grateful to have a strong and loving family.
“We always knew we loved each other.”
Tracy said her husband’s fellow-cyclists told her he was riding behind the other cyclists when the group was ploughed into by a motorist.
“If someone else had been behind him and gotten hurt, it would’ve broken him,” she said.
Andrew and 17 other cyclists were crashed into by a motorist while training on the R56 and M26 route around 05:37 on Friday morning.
He was declared dead at the scene, while four others sustained moderate to serious injuries, and 13 escaped with minor injuries.
Tracy said her husband was one of the top cyclists in his age group who had been cycling for around 10 years.
“He was not a weekend rookie,” Tracy said.
Metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said police were still urging the driver of the white Toyota Tazz to come forward, after fleeing the accident scene on foot.
His passenger also sustained minor injuries.
Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso called on road users to be vigilant, considerate towards each other, and to adhere to rules and regulations at all times.
“Cyclists and runners are also advised to be on the road at the times when visibility is not limited and to wear visible and reflective gear.”
Andrew is survived by his wife, a 16-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter.
