Nandipha Magudumana wants her arrest in Tanzania declared ‘wrongful and unlawful’
Dr Nandipha Magudumana has filed urgent court papers in the Bloemfontein High Court seeking to declare her arrest, “abduction” and deportation last month in Tanzania “wrongful and unlawful”.
The matter is expected to be heard on Thursday.

Buthelezi retains post
Zulu Prime Minister Mangosuthu Buthelezi and King Misuzulu kaZwelithini have dismissed as false media reports that the former has abandoned his responsibilities to the nation.
It had been reported that a “bitter fallout” between Buthelezi and King Misuzulu KaZwelithini over the appointment of Inkosi Thanduyise Mzimela as the new chairperson of the Ingonyama Trust Board, led to Buthelezi’s decision.

Six dead after outbreak of diarrhoea in SA
Diarrhoea has claimed the lives of six people in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.
Department of Health spokesperson Foster Mohale says they were informed of cases of people presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms in Hammanskraal, in the past few days.
More than 50 people were receiving medical care at Jubilee Hospital. Six of the patients died while undergoing treatment, Mohale said on Saturday.

Bulls clinch thriller over Lions, Griquas thump Griffons in Currie Cup
A last-gasp drop goal attempt from Lions flyhalf Gianni Lombard drifted wide to hand the Bulls a breathless 33-32 (halftime 26-20) bonus point win in their Currie Cup clash at Ellis Park on Saturday afternoon.
With the clock running red and the Lions throwing one last attack at the Bulls, working their way onto their 22m, the ball was passed back to Lombard in front, with him pulling his drop goal giving the Bulls a massively important win.

Pirates qualify for Champions League after thrashing AmaZulu
A dominant display by Orlando Pirates earned the club a second-place finish in the DStv Premiership and a place in the Caf Champion League.
This is after they thrashed AmaZulu 4-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
