Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has denied any suggestion that his party is in a coalition with the African National Congress (ANC).
The possibility of an ANC-EFF coalition has generated a great deal of debate ahead of the 2024 general elections, however, the question was whether the political parties would be able to find each other in policy terms.

The five former G4S employees accused of aiding and abetting Thabo Bester in his prison escape, will reappear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court, alongside Bester, Dr Nandipha Magudumana and Zolile Sekeleni, on Tuesday 16 May.

The murder trial of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa has been postponed because a new witness, who was inside the house when the soccer star was killed brought an application to stop the media from broadcasting her testimony.
The media and lawyers for the accused only heard on Monday morning that the new witness was bringing the application.

Thuli Phongolo and Themba Sekowe, also known as DJ Maphorisa, have landed themselves on the Twitter trends again after bringing a private matter to the public domain.
The duo trended last week after DJ Maphorisa appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Kaizer Chiefs management are said to be unsure about how to handle the Arthur Zwane issue after he was attacked by unhappy supporters in Rustenburg at the weekend.

Zwane is reported to have needed medical attention after he was hit by an object thrown by the supporters at him as he left the field at Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Saturday.
