Covid-19 cases rise to 9,420, with hospital nurse among eight more deceased
Another jump of more than 500 cases continues to see a steady rise in prevalence, especially in the Western Cape.

On Saturday afternoon, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced that the number of Covid-19 infections in the country had risen to 9,420, with 525 new cases.
Deaths rose by eight to 186, with seven of them in the Western Cape and one in KwaZulu-Natal. One of the deceased was a nurse at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town.
The total number of tests conducted were 324,079.
