Chaos ensues on N1 after truck transporting chickens overturns
Two patients with minor injuries were transported to hospital as chickens scattered across the highway.

A load of chickens was scattered across the N1 South just after the Allandale Road off-ramp in Midrand earlier on Thursday, reports Kempton Express.
The truck transporting the live birds overturned, resulting in chaos on the highway.

According to Emer-G-Med, two other vehicles were also involved in the accident. Two patients with minor injuries were transported to hospital.
Four lanes were closed, severely backing up traffic. Motorists are urged to use an alternative route.
