According to Tembisa police communications officer Constable Patricia Mgijima, the Ekurhuleni North Cluster Crime Prevention members received information about the man.
“When the police found him and questioned him, the suspect claimed to be a reservist at Edenvale police, and when the police asked for his appointment certificate, he failed to produce it,” said Mgijima.
The crime prevention members noticed a framed photograph of the suspect in full uniform on the wall and a ceremonial cap hanging on the wall.
