Norkem Park police on the East Rand are investigating a case of murder after a Birch Acres woman was found dead.
Police spokesperson Captain Lesibana Molokomme said the 57-year-old’s body was found on a bed by ADT Security officers on Friday, Kempton Express reported.
A tenant had entered the yard and noticed the woman’s kitchen door was open.
“The tenant called the security company, that accessed the house and found the body. An ambulance was called, but the woman was certified dead on scene,” said Molokomme.
It is unclear as to whether any items were taken from the house. Police investigations are ongoing.
