A bakkie crashed into a bottle store at a local shopping centre in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal.
It is alleged the driver was waiting for a family member while she was shopping, and he fell asleep on Monday. While he was sleeping, he mistakenly put down the handbrake, Ladysmith Gazette reported.
The vehicle rolled forward and crashed into the store.
Police were on scene.
