ANN7 boss advises Aunty Patty to join the ANC
He says if she took his advice, De Lille could avoid a political suicide and hopefully resuscitate her almost jeopardised political career.

Well, it is a foregone conclusion that the former Pan African Congress (PAC) leader who went on to form her own Independent Democrats (ID) party, and later joined forces with the DA shortly before being sworn in as the mayor of Cape Town, Patricia De Lille, is facing the biggest political battle of her life.
The federal legal council of the Democratic Alliance (DA) decided on Sunday to pursue a disciplinary process against her stemming from a raft of allegations into how she ran the DA Cape Town caucus by sowing divisions, covering up corruption and maladministration as well as ensuring her close cronies and family members are appointed to influential positions.
On the one hand, Lodidox director and ANN7 boss Mzwanele ‘Jimmy’ Manyi is an openly ANC supporter who vacillates between the various camps of the ANC, but more curiously always manages to gravitate towards the winning side.
He recently tweeted: “President Ramaphosa is the face of the ANC right now and the 2019 ANC campaign. The preoccupation with Prez Zuma’s departure is a distraction that the ANC must avoid.”
It came as no surprise when Manyi offered De Lille unsolicited pearls of wisdom. He said if she opted to take his advice, De Lille would avoid a political suicide and hopefully resuscitate her almost jeopardised political career.
Dear Patricia Delille
When the DA is finished with you, you will be battered beyond recognition.
My advice to you is that jumpship now and salvage the brand equity you still have and make a deal with the ANC. pic.twitter.com/rNvCLtSFbx— Mzwanele Manyi (@MzwaneleManyi) January 15, 2018
His followers on Twitter gave their money’s worth of equally tongue-in-cheek advice. Manyi was told that ANC should be De Lille’s first choice of defection, as this is where corruption thrives.

Manyi was also told the ANC was not a rubbish bin.
From PAC to DA. Moviing from exreme left to Right, then left again. Haai, she cannot be trusted. Beside this thing of turning @myANC into a rubish bin must stop.

Manyi was also reminded of his “smallanyana skeletons” with the Guptas.
Like the one you made with the Guptas Sir

Others welcomed De Lille’s defection to the ANC, and quipped the Women’s League could do with a bit of colour.
You are a good friend she really should listen. Women's league needs some colour 😂 pic.twitter.com/SqX6lqvroF

The infamous floor-crossing of the New National Party members from the DA to the ANC was conjured up.

It was all fun and games until Manyi was reminded he may face arrest soon.
I thought Jimmy was having a problem with the oversupply of coloured people in Western Cape. Please Jimmy stop your sarcasm. Ready yourself for the asset forfeiture unit instead.
