ANC national conference credentials report by the numbers
Only three provinces had their registered delegates approved to vote in totality by the verification committee.
The contentious credentials report of the ANC adopted by the national conference shows that of the the number of expected delegates and those registered as well as those given the go ahead by the verification process differed slightly.
According to the figures presented by the deputy secretary general Jessie Duarte earlier this morning Kwazulu-Natal remains the biggest province at the conference in terms of the numbers, with the Western Cape fielding the smallest number of delegates.
KZN was expected to bring 870 delegates to the conference as per the last elective conference statistics, but only registered 840 delegates with only 804 of them allowed to vote.
This is what insiders and analysts alluded to when they predicted the session to adopt the report will be messy as reports started trickling in as early as yesterday morning that they were bogus delegates who had to be turned away.
The second biggest province in terms of the numbers is Mpumalanga. 722 delegates were registered, down from 736 in 2012. 708 of them will be able to vote. It was closely followed by Eastern Cape.

Together with Gauteng and Northern Cape all their registered delegates will cast ballots for leaders and participate fully in conference activities.
Gauteng took the fifth spot after bringing 491 delegates, down from the 508 that went to Mangaung. They are all members in good standing in terms of the conference rules. It was followed by North West where of the 511 delegates registered, 446 will vote. They had 538 delegates during the previous elective conference.
The seventh spot was taken by Free State with 355 registered delegates, down from the previous 409, with 349 delegates permitted to vote. The Northern Cape posted 193 registered delegates, just four lower then the previous conference. The Western Cape managed to register 146 delegates and 123 of them will vote.
27 PEC members from seven provinces will vote with Kwazulu Natal and Free State provincial leaders unable to vote, unless they are at the conference as a members of the branch as Sihle Zikalala and Oscar Mabuyane dislosed.
