99-year-old granny and grandchild dragged by truck in KZN

A 99-year-old woman has lost her life after both her and a three-year-old child were hit by a cane truck in Shakaskraal on Friday morning.

The elderly woman was reportedly dragged under the truck and suffered fatal injuries, North Coast Courier reports.

The child, reportedly the woman’s great grandchild, suffered critical injuries, and was treated by advanced life support paramedics, then taken to a hospital.
