Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund on Thursday named a formidable squad of 23 players to take on Spain in an international friendly in Johannesburg on November 19.

Igesund also recalled goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, who would be rested for Bafana’s friendly encounter with Swaziland, four days before the Spanish meeting.

“For us as a team, it’s a great opportunity to see where we are,” Igesund said at the SA Football Association headquarters, in Johannesburg on Thursday.
