Quick response by Bergville police in KwaZulu-Natal resulted in the arrest of a 53-year-old man who was caught in the act of harvesting a dagga plantation, Ladysmith Gazette reports.
On Monday morning, March 20, Bergville Visible Policing officers received a tip-off and rushed out to the Potsheni area, where they arrested the man.

The suspect has been charged for dealing in dagga and appeared in the Bergville Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be around R48 000.
