30kg of dagga plants found at construction site
A suspect who was found on the property took off after seeing cops approach him.

Two police officers of Sandton Police Station found dagga plants weighing 30kg on a construction site in Bryanston, north of Johannesburg, on March 3 at about 5pm, Fourways Review reports.
Constable David Mothapo, spokesperson for Sandton Police Station, said: “Constable Morris Kgasago and Constable Essau Sambo were doing routine police duties when they stopped at a construction site at a residence and noticed the dagga shrubs.”

According to Mothapo, a man who was on the property ran away when he realised the officers had noticed the dagga plants.
“About 30kg of dagga [plants] was recovered from the scene and police are working hard at finding the suspects,” said Mothapo.
