WATCH: ‘Sexy’ teacher responds to criticism over her outfits

Lulu Menziwa has asked that people stop reposting images of her with nasty comments.

School teacher Lulu Menziwa has hit back at her haters after criticism over her fashion sense gained her overnight fame.

A Twitter user by the name of Lufuno Mathoni shared images from Menziwa’s Instagram and tagged Gauteng MEC for education Panyaza Lesufi, insinuating that Menziwa’s continued employment made it hard for children to pass.

Mathoni’s post sparked conversation about Menziwa’s dress sense with many calling it inappropriate.

Despite the criticism, many came to Menziwa’s defence.

It seems Menziwa got wind of what was being said about her online and she took to her Instagram live to respond to the hate.

“You must stop this, what you’re doing. I don’t like it anymore,” stated Menziwa before adding: “Now I’m famous, everyone knows me, I’m all over social networks. Radio stations they’re talking about me.”

She went on to call her detractors out and labelled them perverts for finding something wrong with the way she chose to dress.

Menziwa said the children in the age group she taught would never sexualise her.

She demanded that people stop sharing her pictures with such nasty comments and has since made her Instagram account private.
