Mpumalanga churches to celebrate DD Mabuza’s victory

The churches of Mpumalanga and ANC members will converge at the stadium to pray, celebrate and have a thanksgiving ceremony for the new deputy president.

Christmas Eve will be celebrated in style this year, with a mammoth prayer celebration sermon by provincial churches.

Churches will gather at the Kanyamazane Stadium on Sunday for Premier David Mabuza’s election as the deputy president of the ANC during the organisation’s 54th National Conference, held at the Nasrec Centre, in Johannesburg, Mpumalanga News reports

According to the organisers, “this is a celebration in response to the prayers of the vast population of Mpumalanga citizens, including the one million membership of registered members of the ANC nationally, who have at last answered the province’s prayers to have Mabuza as the first ever deputy president from Mpumalanga in the ANC hierarchy”.
