Nasty C and crew tied up during house robbery

The perpetrators took some of the rapper's personal belongings, reportedly worth R800k.


Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo has confirmed police are on the hunt for two suspects involved in a house robbery that saw rapper Nasty C lose personal items in the early hours of Wednesday, Roodepoort Northsider reports.

According to Masondo, the two armed suspects stormed into a property in Roodekrans, where the rapper and his crew were held at gunpoint and robbed of their valuables.

“I can confirm that they were robbed of two laptops, two tablets, cellphones and a Rolex watch,” Masondo told The Northsider.

It is understood the suspects entered the house through a bathroom window and found seven victims, including Nasty C.

Two people were sleeping in the bedroom, and others were seated in the living room watching television.

It is also understood that the suspects forced all the victims into a studio, where five of the victims were tied up with cables.

The stolen items are estimated to be worth R800 000.

Masondo also indicated the suspects were still at large. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the incident.
