ER24, who reported to the scene, has confirmed that the driver, a woman in her 20s, was left in a critical condition. Paramedics initiated advanced life support interventions in order to stabilise her vital signs.

Photos and videos of a crashed Audi TT on the corner of Rivonia and Marion roads in Sandton are doing the rounds on social media, Sandton Chronicle reports.
So far the exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not known, but for now, Arrive Alive tweeted a video of the crashed vehicle, saying it was totalled.
The video shows various parts of the vehicle lying on the tar and on the pavement. The airbags are fully inflated. High-heeled shoes are seen lying on the tar. Voices in the background of the video are heard describing their shock at the crash.

There are conflicting reports as to the well-being of the driver following the crash.
In the tweet by Arrive Alive, it is said the driver is believed to be dead, but in another video, which also showed the extent of the damage, tweeted by social cohesion advocate Yusuf Abramjee, a man can be heard saying the driver was not hurt in the crash and that she had even called the emergency services and police after the crash.
