Domestic held at gunpoint

The helper was busy cleaning when the suspects walked in.


A Van Riebeeck Park domestic worker was held at gunpoint and ordered to shut up while two men ransacked her employer’s home on August 22, Kempton Express reports.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Captain Lesibana Molokomme said the two suspects surprised the helper while she was cleaning the kitchen at 11.50am.

“The suspects pointed a firearm in her direction and ordered her to remain silent. They left the house with goods worth about R50 000 and fled in a black vehicle, make unknown,” said Mlokomme.
