16 people were injured after a collision between a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle on Saturday morning.
The crash took place in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban.

Netcare911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said the injuries ranged from minor to moderate, and that once stabilised, patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
