Cleaner falls off building in Menlo Park

The man had sustained severe and multiple injuries, and he took analgesic medication to manage his pain.


A man has been severely injured after falling off a building in Menlo Park, Pretoria.

Ambulance service Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman said it was alleged the man was part of a team cleaning windows on Tuesday afternoon, Rekord East reported.

Dollman said responding Advanced Life Support paramedics determined the man had sustained severe and multiple injuries and analgesic medication was administered to manage his pain.

“He was stabilised on the scene and transported  to hospital for further care.”

Dollman commended the first aiders who had initiated treatment and kept the victim calm and still prior to their arrival.
