Police found the suspect in possession of a .38 revolver firearm as well.

A suspected house burglar was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in his plot in Laezonia and goods he had allegedly stolen were found in his possession, outside Pretoria, the Centurion Rekord reports.

Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said: “Police followed up information about a man allegedly suspected to be involved in a housebreaking committed on Saturday in Koedoe Street,” he said.

Moloto said the information led police to the suspect’s residence in Scheeper Street where they made an arrest.
