Fourteen people were injured when a bakkie overturned near Menlyn on Friday morning.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said this happened on the Garsfontein Road bridge, Rekord East reported.
“Reports from the scene indicate that a bakkie carrying 14 men lost control and overturned. The men were on their way to work,” Botha said.
He said paramedics arrived at the scene and found that four men sustained serious injuries.
“The other 10 escaped with minor injuries. The seriously injured men were stabilised at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital, under the constant care of a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic.”
Botha said the cause of the accident was unknown.
