Man found dead near transformer
The deceased had come to a police station in the area earlier to ask for directions.

Investigations are under way after a 24-year-old man was found dead next to a transformer on Schabort Street in Trichardt, Mpumalanga.
Police spokesperson Constable Valencia Koma said a member of the community informed the police that the man was lying next to the transformer on Sunday, Ridge Times reported.
“On their arrival, police summoned an ambulance, and the man was certified dead by paramedics,” said Koma.
“The deceased came to the station earlier and was looking for directions to Schabort Street.
“He said he was from Govan Mbeki Municipality and was responding to a complaint regarding electricity.
“The cause of death is still unknown, and the police are investigating.”
