The trial of the three suspects accused of kidnapping and trafficking six-year-old Joshlin Smith will enter its sixth week on Monday.
The confession statements made by Jacquen Appollis and Steveno van Rhyn are still being questioned after the accused claimed they were made after being tortured by police.
An investigating officer took the stand on Monday to recount how the statements were gathered from the accused.
