Charlesville residents are at an early stage of having their homes rebuilt after a mudslide from a local Jagersfontein mine dam burst on 11 September 2022. The now toxic-filled ghost town residents are still devastated from losing their homes and loved ones, and are afraid that they have been abandoned and forgotten.
